2023年3月，As one of the important construction contents of Yunnan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Yunnan Ethnic Medical Hospital), the project of Yunnan Provincial National Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Project") has obtained the approval of the Feasibility Study Report of Yunnan Provincial National Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Innovation Center Project from Yunnan Provincial Development and Reform Commission.。

       According to the relevant requirements of the National Development and Reform Commission and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Notice on the selection and application of the construction unit of the National Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance and Innovation Center Project，In April 2022, Yunnan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was included in the list of National Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance and Innovation Center cultivation units by the National Development and Reform Commission and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine。

       The project relies on the construction of the first phase of Yunnan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Yunnan Provincial Hospital of Ethnic Medicine), with 300 beds and a total investment of about 3.400 million yuan, total construction area of about 38,462.6 square meters。Project construction，To accelerate the improvement of our province's basic research of traditional Chinese medicine, superior disease diagnosis and treatment, high-level personnel training, traditional Chinese medicine equipment and new medicine research and development, scientific and technological achievements and other capabilities，We will create a high ground for TCM inheritance and innovation that closely integrates medical production, university research and application，It is of great significance to promote the development of medical and health undertakings and TCM undertakings in Yunnan Province。

       In the next step, the hospital will accelerate the construction of the project in accordance with the requirements of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission's "Reply to the Feasibility Study Report on the Project of the National Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance and Innovation Center in Yunnan Province"。
